Field Assessment Visitation Assistance for Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program
The Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Surabaya State University welcomed BAN-PT assessors to carry out field assessment visits on March 9-10 2023. The Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) provided assistance represented by Dr. Widowati Budijastuti, M.Si., Dr. Tjitjik Rahayu, M.Si., and Dr. Advendi Kristiyandaru, M.Pd. to support the success of the activity.

Chairman of the National Accreditation Division, Dr. Tjitjik Rahayu, M.Sc., explained that the mentoring stages include stages; (1) coordination of visitation preparations with the head of study program and the head of the Faculty of Engineering; (2) preparing the PIC about strengthening the understanding of the Self-Evaluation Report (LED) to answer the assessor's questions; (3) assistance during visitations, especially for explanations regarding quality assurance and accreditation processes; (4) Assistance for clarifying form data that has been sent to LAMDIK which is used as the basis for determining the accreditation rating of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program; and (5) study program assistance during wrap-up visits.
On Thursday, March 9 2023, at Building E1 Faculty of Engineering, 2nd Floor Unesa Ketintang Campus, the event starts on time at 08.00 WIB. UPPS opened the event, followed by remarks by Unesa Deputy Chancellor 2, Dr. H. Bachtiar Syaiful Bachri, M.Pd., as well as opening field assessment (AL) activities.
Next is the speech delivered by the assessor, namely Dr. Eng. Agus Setiawan, M.Si from the Indonesian University of Education and Dr. Ir. Widiarto, M.Pd. from Yogyakarta State University. Subsequent activities follow the planned agenda starting with clarification of data related to UPPS activities.
Dr. Widowati Budijastuti, M.Sc., Head of SPM explained that the Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program was an undergraduate study program visited by LAMDIK. "This visitation is the third offline Field Assessment at Unesa in 2023 using the LAMDIK instrument." Mrs. Wido added.
The field assessment which was held for two days was attended by Vice Chancellor 2, Head of LPPM Unesa, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Deputy Dean of FT Fields 1 and 2, Head of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program, Head of LPM Unesa, Head of the National Accreditation Center for Education, Head of National Non-Education Accreditation Center, GPM FT, Study Program Lecturers, UPM Study Program S1 Mechanical Engineering Education, and students. It is hoped that the accreditation of Mechanical Engineering Education Study Program can achieve the best results.
